Protecting Adolescents from Gender Based Violence through the Promotion of their Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights

Rokhsana Ismail, who conducted the GRACE Yemen project, “How can ICTs be used to combat gender-based violence against women in Yemen?” has been invited to be a field supervisor on a Save the Children project. This regional project has the objective of enhancing protection of children and adolescents (10-17 years) in the MENA Region from gender based violence (early marriage, FGM and sexual abuse) through promoting their right to Sexual and Reproductive Health.  The action will contribute to the achievement of the overall objective by improving quality of and access to information and services for children and adolescents at risk or victims of sexual and reproductive health rights abuse and, by improving policy environment in the three countries of operation, Yemen, Lebanon and Palestine. http://mena.savethechildren.se/MENA/What-we-do/Protection/Regional-Projects/SRHR/
